Adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) is a three-dimensional spinal deformity with a curve (Cobb angle > 10°) of the spine in the coronal plane .
It accounts for approximately 80% of confirmed scoliosis cases.
If the curve is over 45 degrees, sometimes surgery is needed
If the Curve is between 10 and 25 degrees, Chiropractic can be effective, even up to 45 degrees
