Strong evidence was found for increased curve flexibility as favorable predictive factor for initial in-brace correction. Moderate evidence was found for thoracolumbar or lumbar curve pattern as favourable predictive factor, and double major curve pattern as unfavourable predictive factor for initial in-brace correction
