Postural sway can be associated with low back pain, and conditions along the spine like neck pain, tension-type headaches and neck dysfunction


Research from 2023 found that when low back pain sufferers were tested, they had INCREASED postural sway.


The people who were MOST likely to have postural sway are

- men

- taller people

- low education levels

- smokers
