Foods that help the gut

Digestive problems can be a range of things from bloating, gas, constipation , diarrhea and heartburn

Its important to drink plenty of water, and to slowly increase fibre, as too much fibre can be bad for your digestion

Things to eat more of:

Ginger: to reduce bloating

Unsaturated Fats: can help the body absorb vitamins . Plant oils like olive oil are a good source. A 2000 calorie a day diet means a person should not have more than 77 grams a day of fat.

Vegetables with skin ( high in fibre) like potatoesm beans and legumes

Oranges, apples and bananas contain vitamin C and potassium .

Yogurt. Due to the fact it contains probiotics

Leafy green vegetables. The journal of nature chemical biology states these contain sulfoquinovose.
