Bergamot Oil

What is Bergamot Oil The Bergamot (citrus aurantium var. bergamia) tree is native to South East Asia and can grow up to four meters high with star-shaped flowers and smooth leaves. Bergamot essential oil is extracted from the fruit which resembles a cross between an orange and a grapefruit, but only in a pear-shape. The fruit ripens from green to yellow. Bergamot aroma is an uplifting, spicy, sweet scent; like orange and lemons with floral overtones, a citrus spice with a high floral note.

Massage with Bergamot Oil When added to your massage, it will help reduce muscle tension and give relief from tightness or sore muscles and give you a relaxing and soothing massage.

Skin Care with Bergamot Oil Bergamot is soothing on the skin and can help with teenage acne and oily skin. It has anti-inflammatory, anti-infectious properties and rejuvenating properties and is helpful for acne, cold sores, skin infections, wounds, burns, ulcers, eczema and psoriasis.
