How to eat well on CARDIO day, STRENGTH day and REST day
Cardio Day-
Before- carbs like whole foods, protein and fats
During- if you exercise more than 90 minutes, have a sports drink with carbs
After- 60 minutes after have foods with carbs and protein from whole foods with a ratio of 3:1
Strength day
Switch up the sports drink with BCAS (branch chain amino acids, leucine, isoleucine and valine) to increase the rate of muscle protein synthesis
After exercise, eat within 30 minutes and replenish the muscles
Rest Day
Try more low carb meals
Try more healthy fats like coconut oil, olive oil and grass fed butter.
