Chiropractic vs Surgery: What Does Science Say is Better?

Updated: Jan 11

Chiropractic or Surgery ? What one is better according to science?

This research looked into low back pain, and compared to follow up results with those that got surgery versus those who had non pharmacological chiropractic care

Often medical intervention doesn't have the desired outcomes, why ? The research shows common medicines like NSAIDS (neurofen) can actually nearly DOUBLE your chance of developing CHRONIC PAIN

UGH right ?!?!

A reason for this is that INFLAMMATION is actually helping at the beginning for the healing process

And what do NSAIDS do ? They DELAY the healing process due to them limiting the amount inflammation released

Now back to the research

60% of patients with back pain- sciatica - who failed at other medial management benefited from spinal manipulation

Of the 40% who still had issues, surgical intervention had an excellent outcome!
