Does the addition of Chiropractic to exercise therapy improve pain and disability outcomes in chronic low back pain

Low back pain (LBP) is a common musculoskeletal problem and one of the leading causes of disability worldwide, with 80% of humans experiencing at least ONE episode in their lifetime.
LBP is defined as pain, muscle tension, or stiffness that occurs below the costal margin and above the inferior gluteal folds, and depending on the pathophysiological origin, classified as specific or non-specific .
It can be categorised as acute (lasting less than six weeks), subacute (lasting between six weeks and three months), or chronic (lasting more than three months).
Let's Discuss Exercise Therapy
Strength training improves core muscle strength, whereas flexibility exercise aids rebalancing, reducing tension and muscle stiffness, improving overall functional movement
Aerobic exercise increases blood flow and nutrients to the soft tissues, which promotes healing and reduction of stiffness

Exercise can help with pain reduction by altering endorphin production, which encourages neurotransmitter binding to opiate receptors in the brain and spinal cord, decreasing the experience of pain
So if exercise can help, remember Movement is Medicine as Dr Julian always says to his patients , what does the addition of spinal theary do ?
When we look at the research, the manual therapy plus exercise group demonstrated a significant reduction in pain (Visual Analogue Scale (VAS)) and a long-term reduction in disability
What about adding massage therapy?
Addition of massage elicited greater improvements in outcomes of pain (VAS), radiculopathy, paraesthesia, and disability (Roland-Morris Disability Score) and increased body flexibility (finger-to-floor test)
Working on a patient's muscles also reduces pain, improves range of motion, not only straight after a session, but 2-3 months after the therapy
